About MySymptom

MySymptom is a free health companion built by one person, Arhaan Delawalla. It helps you decide what kind of care a symptom needs, for you, your family and your pets, and it is open about what it can't do.

Who builds MySymptom?

One founder, no invented team, no borrowed credentials.

Arhaan Delawalla

Founder

Arhaan started MySymptom for the moment between noticing something is wrong and knowing what to do about it. Search results jump to the worst case, clinics can be hard to reach, and many people end up doing nothing and hoping. MySymptom tries to make that moment calmer: check for warning signs first, then explain what a symptom can be related to and what level of care makes sense.

Arhaan is not a doctor, nurse or vet, and MySymptom does not pretend to be one. He designs and builds the product, writes the articles from public health guidance, and answers the email.

Why does MySymptom exist?

Because the hardest part of feeling unwell is often not knowing how worried to be.

Search results jump to the worst case. Clinics can be hard to reach, and many people end up doing nothing and hoping. MySymptom gives a calm first step: it checks for warning signs, says plainly how soon to get care, and helps you bring the right details to a clinician or vet.

It is built for the people who look after others too: a parent at 2 a.m. with a feverish toddler, someone helping an older parent, or a dog owner staring at an empty chocolate wrapper.

Is MySymptom free?

Yes. Every feature is free, with no paid tier and no card.

  • There is no paid tier, no trial and no paywall. Hourly limits on questions keep the service running for everyone.
  • Running MySymptom costs money for hosting and AI. To help cover it, some articles show ads, and only if you agree.
  • Ads never appear inside the app, and they are never personalized.
  • Had a paid plan on the old version of MySymptom? Email mysymptomai@gmail.com and we will help you cancel it.

What is MySymptom, and what isn't it?

What it is

  • A way to ask about a symptom and get a clear care level
  • Plain explanations of what a symptom can be related to
  • A place to track check-ins, medicines and vitals
  • A one-page Visit Brief for your clinician or vet

What it isn't

  • A doctor, nurse or vet, or a replacement for one
  • An emergency service
  • A way to know for sure what is causing a symptom
  • A source of doses or product recommendations

How do I contact MySymptom?

Questions, corrections and feedback all go to the same inbox, and a person reads every message.

Please don't email health details you want kept private. For anything urgent, contact a clinician or your local emergency number.
